My name is Egle Tenikyte, a Lithuanian soul who somehow drifted ashore in Cascais, a picturesque coastal town on the Atlantic coast — and, for the first time in my life, felt what it means to be home. For over a decade, my world revolved around fashion photography, working with various brands across the globe. But everything changed the moment I arrived in Portugal…
A few years ago, guided by curiosity, I wandered into the Caramulo Motor Festival and Estoril Classics, two of the country’s most renowned automotive events. I thought I’d snap a few pretty pictures. Instead, I fell head-over-heels in love. It wasn’t just the cars — it was their soul. The thunder of engines. The scent of oil and leather. The way a curve, shaped with care, could feel like poetry. I was hit by it — like a wave — that same kind of wave you feel the first time you stand before the ocean and realize you’ve been thirsty for something you didn’t even know existed.
In that moment, I understood that I had to unite my two greatest passions: the timeless grace of classic sports cars and the wild, untamed spirit of the ocean. And so, Drive Me To The Ocean was born. A love letter on four wheels. A visual dialogue between horsepower and saltwater. A series where machines become poems, and waves become mirrors — reflecting our longing for beauty, presence, meaning, and something that endures.
While my artworks are deeply connected to the external ocean, I believe we all carry one within — tides of memory, undercurrents of feeling. Some crash loudly. Others whisper. My deepest hope is that through my work, I can speak to those inner waters — stir something quiet but essential in the heart. Because when you find something — or someone — who matches your tide, it’s like coming home without ever needing to arrive.

Drive me to the ocean.. within your chest.
The story of my seashell necklaces began in Fiji, an archipelago of over 300 islands nestled in the heart of the South Pacific, where I first laid eyes on the ocean.
I had dreamed of that moment since childhood, longing for the day I could live close to the ocean. Yet, life never gave me the chance to stay as near to it as I wished. So, I decided to carry a small part of it with me, no matter where I went.
Each seashell, cradled in a necklace, rests close to the heart, where its gentle rhythm mirrors the heartbeat, like the sound of the waves. And in return, the seashell whispers the ocean’s soothing song back to the heart creating the eternal connection.
Keep this seashell close to your heart and let me take you on a journey across the deep blue oceans and wavy seas..
